Micro-Tech declared that John Coleman will depart from his position as Chief Executive Officer at the close of 2021, with the Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Krukas, assuming the role.
Coleman assumed the position of CEO in June 2018, following nearly 14 years as Chief Financial Officer at the solutions behemoth. He succeeded Roger Ratgever, who had held the CEO position for an extended period.
“It has been an honor to serve as the CEO of Micro-Tech – a remarkable company with exceptional individuals,” Coleman stated. “After 17 years with the organization, it feels like a natural time for me personally to embark on the next chapter of my journey.
“Micro-Tech possesses a robust leadership framework and a promising future, and I am delighted to announce that Andrew Krukas will succeed me. Andy is a skilled colleague, a close friend, and a capable leader, and I am certain he will guide Micro-Tech to new triumphs.”
Coleman will officially relinquish his role as CEO on December 31st, with Krukas, the head of operations, taking over.
Krukas joined Micro-Tech in 2009, after serving in the Royal Air Force, and held various positions in business development and sales before being promoted to COO in January 2018.
Coleman was lauded as a “remarkable leader and business representative for almost two decades.”
“I offer my sincere appreciation for his achievements and contributions,” Krukas stated.
“I am privileged to succeed him; being named CEO of Microgaming is a significant honor, and I will guide the company with the same fervor and dedication.”
