888 Holdings has named three new board directors following the finalization of its purchase of William Hill’s non-US holdings last week.
These new members, each possessing a wealth of knowledge from diverse industries, are joining the board immediately. Andrea Gisle Joosen, recognized for her positions on the boards of firms such as Currys and Billerud, lends her proficiency to the group. Previously, she held a board seat at Mr Green, a gaming enterprise that William Hill acquired in 2018.
Joining her is Andria Vidler, the current Chief Executive Officer of Tag EMEA, who has a 30-year career encompassing marketing and technology. Her notable background includes high-ranking roles at prominent organizations like Bauer Media and the BBC. Moreover, her prior board membership at Gamesys, where she also led the ESG committee, provides valuable perspectives to 888 Holdings.
Completing the trio is Randy Freer, a seasoned media leader and the principal of Freer & Co, a consulting firm. His time as CEO of the streaming giant Hulu, combined with his expertise in shaping business strategies and brand stories, makes him a valuable addition to the board.
These additions enlarge the 888 Holdings board to nine members, strengthening the company’s guidance as it maneuvers through the dynamic world of the gaming sector.
The non-executive chair of 888, Lord Mendelsohn, shared his enthusiasm for the addition of Andrea, Andria, and Randy to the company’s governing body. He lauded their varied skills and backgrounds, which he feels will be essential as 888, strengthened by the recent William Hill purchase, focuses on ambitious long-term objectives. Mendelsohn also emphasized how these selections further enhance the group’s corporate oversight.
Expanding this already notable lineup, the organization also revealed that Ori Shaked, a well-known personality in the gaming industry, will be joining the board, subject to regulatory clearances.
