A prominent casino game developer, Aristocrat Gaming, has pledged a substantial sum to the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). This half-million-dollar gift will be utilized to bolster Indigenous learners and experts pursuing paths in STEM disciplines.
The capital will aid AISES’s endeavors to furnish educational tools and career advancement prospects, notably through their groundbreaking RISE fund. This program concentrates on assisting Native individuals drawn to the gaming sector, an arena where inclusivity is paramount.
Aristocrat’s munificent contribution will also finance grants, apprenticeships, and other worthwhile initiatives. The AISES leader, Sarah EchoHawk, conveyed appreciation for the alliance, emphasizing the mutual dedication to elevating Native participation in STEM. This joint effort aspires to generate measurable progress by championing diversity and representation within the gaming realm.
Currently, the AISES scholarship program assists 20 students nationwide who are pursuing studies for professions in the casino gaming sector.
Past their first contribution, Aristocrat Gaming has committed $30,000 to support the yearly AISES gathering.

This pledge arrives at a moment when tribal gaming income has achieved unprecedented levels, exceeding $40.9 billion in the financial year 2022 as per a study published in late July.
